For this prestigious traveling exhibition from the V&A in London, Pièce Montée designed an entirely new concept, including a Belgian section. The concept and routing were adapted to the new location, and around one hundred Belgian objects were integrated, ranging from fashion (Bobbejaan Schoepen, Anne Salens, Yvette Lauwaert) to photography (Herman Selleslags) and iconic cultural events such as Leuven Vlaams, Amougies, and Jazz Bilzen.
Approximately 400 exclusive objects were exhibited, supported by Sennheiser AMBEO 3D sound experiences and videos that brought the context of the pieces to life. Visitors were fully immersed in the social and cultural climate of the late 1960s.
The project required close collaboration with the V&A London, Sennheiser Germany, and international lenders. Pièce Montée provided scenography, graphics, technical support, and coordination, strictly adhering to all conservation and technology standards.
The V&A praised the design and considered the Belgian adaptation one of the finest worldwide.
"Is anyone still waiting for an exhibition about peace, love, and understanding? The remake of the exhibition previously shown at the V&A offers a complete picture of the era that many baby boomers still adore." – Bruzz
