After years of vacancy, the former Douwe Egberts headquarters has been repurposed into Hi!, an inspiring space where teams come together to present, meet, brainstorm, podcast, eat, drink, and unwind. Hi! offers a festival of possibilities in which work and creativity seamlessly merge.
The interior makes extensive use of the building’s existing furniture. Designed and curated by Pièce Montée, it is a strong example of circular design, creatively and sustainably reusing materials. Where needed, reusable and temporary constructions are added, keeping the space flexible and multifunctional — ideal for both corporate and public events.
The design also considers reproducibility and sustainability: all materials can be disassembled, recycled, or reused after dismantling. In this way, Hi! remains a circular and forward-looking concept.
