BELville is an interactive workshop on climate citizenship in which students take on the challenge of building a future-proof city together. Through thought-provoking dilemmas, they make decisions that affect climate, well-being and budget. In this way, they experience in a tangible manner how today’s choices shape tomorrow’s world.
During the game, students discover the consequences of their decisions in both the short and long term. At the end of the workshop, they evaluate the outcome: did they build a city where well-being comes first, an expensive but climate-neutral metropolis, or did they manage to find the perfect balance?
The workshop is designed for students in the second and third stages of secondary education.
